The better prepared you are the more you can enjoy it! You don't want to have any surprises like an allergic reaction on the big day [if !supportLists]- [endif]Mind set: mentally prepare yourself in whichever way this works best for you. i.e.: buddy up with others, get a trainer and/ or training plan, music,... [if !supportLists]- [endif]Remind yourself why you're doing this. Running for charity might help to stick to it.
